Sorry, but today there is no boho post here! Today I come to you as a Brazilian citizen to show you what is happening in Brazil. Since the media here in the US is not really covering any of this, I feel like it’s my duty to spread the word. I have gathered a couple of videos that are very self explanatory, and that can give you a better view of the whole situation. But putting in very short words.. Brazil is a country that is dominated by corruption. The government steals people’s money and put said money into their own pockets, meanwhile there’s no education, no healthcare, public transportation sucks, violence is in every street you will cross and the country doesn’t grow. At the same time they are also taking people’s money to “invest” in the World Cup, building unnecessary stadiums and pretending that the country needs this! But now my people have finally woken up! They are going to the streets to protest and to show that we are the ones that can change Brazil. So if you are Brazilian like myself, please take part on this historic moment and help. Even if you don’t live there anymore, I’m sure there’s something you can do. And if you live in South Florida like I do, please come join us today at 5:00 pm at 301 North Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida 33132. Hope to see you there!
This week a good a super cool baja hoodie. I know it’s almost summer here and I won’t be able to wear it for at least a few months, but hey it’s also almost winter in the other half of the globe. And I’m sure many of you can make some use of this boho and stylish hoddie to warm you up. This one is from Mexican Threads an online shop founded in 2010 that is dedicated to baja hoodies and bags. This kind of hoodie is very popular in the hippie culture, they are really resistant, warm and comfy.
This is another look from my Cali trip. As you can see this day I was in Hollywood. We went to the famous Hollywood Boulevard which by the way has zero glamour. I was actually very disappointed because it’s dirty and ugly (please don’t kill me! lol). But well! In the other hand we got to watch a beautiful beautiful sunset from the top of the hills, at the Griffith Observatory. This place is a must see! From there you get a nice view of the city, you can see a close-up from the Moon and Jupiter on a telescope and if you go around sunset you will see some amazing colors.
I’ve got the results for our last giveaway. Thank you so much for participating and special thanks to the beautiful Aqilah from Gypsied for giving us this opportunity, you are awesome. And with no further due…the winner is: Melissa Stephens! Congrats!! Please reply to my email whenever you can, so we can send you your gifts.
