And the most anticipated night for celebrities and fashions fans was yesterday at the 85th AnnualAcademy Awards. I really liked many looks out there, and to pick my favorites was pretty easy. Lots of beaded dresses and that old Hollywood glam style, that we all love. So let’s stop the talking and start this. My number one choice is Stacy Keibler in Naeem Khan dress, super chic. Second favorite is Alicia Vikander in a very sweet Elie Saab gown. Third is Louise Roe in a gorgeous Monique Lhuillier. Than we have Jessica Chastain wearing an Armani Prive dress. Amy Adams in Oscar De La Renta. And my last choice is ZoeSaldana wearing Alexis Mabille Couture dress.
Another red carpet to talk about and choose my favorites. But first I have to say that besides the ones I chose here, the other looks were almost all the same. I felt like the celebs only had a few option to choose from (which is totally not the case when you are a celeb!), it was either a mermaid nude dress, a strapless one with bold skirt or a black one with some golden detail. It seems like they lost their personalities and are wearing whatever they get paid the most to wear. But whatever… I am glad that at least we saw a lot of pretty dresses. And my favs are: Kaley Cuoco looking gorgeous in a Zuhair Murad. Julianne Hough modern princessMonique Lhuillier. Emily Blunt in aMichael Korsdress. Anne Hathaway wearing Chanel. Pregnant Kristen Bell in a Jenny Packham gown. Michelle Dockery goldenAlexandre Vauthierdress. Amy Adams inMarchesa. And Katharine McPhee edgy Olivier Theyskens for Theorydress.
This red carpet was also very diverse, which is a good thing. But the hit for the night was definitely the cut outs and belted dresses. My choices for best dressed are: Amanda Seyfried wearing a Marios Schwab dress, also loved her hair do. 2nd choice is Anne Hathaway in a Oscar de la Renta gown, super chic and she looks so hot with this short hair. 3rd place goes to Jennifer Lawrence wearing Prabal Gurung. Another favorite wasNina Dobrev Monique Lhuillierturquoise crystal dress. Then Emmy Rossum star-printed Carolina Herrera gown. And finally Clea DuVall in this white and flowy Tadashi Shoji gown, but gotta say that I would’ve liked this dress more if it was in any other color.
