Cancer Can’t Take Your Beauty Away From You

February19

This is a gret article wrote by Jackie Clark, to insure that all women feel beautiful, no matter what circumstances they may be facing. So sit tight and enjoy it :)

“You are beautiful. Despite what the culture has been saying for centuries, every woman is beautiful exactly as she is. Whether her face or figure is the popular ideal or the opposite, each woman in the world is beautiful for who she is, for her uniqueness and personality.

Don’t let a cancer diagnosis from your doctor take away your self esteem or feeling of beauty. Your body is struggling and not at its best, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look great. Your sincerity, persistence and strength show through and make you beautiful to others, even if you can’t see it in the mirror. And using fashion as your weapon, you can show the world that mesothelioma or thyroid or any kind of cancer cannot take away your confidence and your beauty.

Fashion has what seems like an unfair influence on women’s self esteem. When you are dressed well, you instantly feel a little braver and better. As you fight this struggle cancer, give yourself that step up by dressing well. Feeling confident because you know you look great will drift into feeling confident because you know you are valued and important and you will be that much stronger and able to overcome cancer.

You deserve to dress well and feel beautiful. When you go shopping, pick out those things that make you feel amazing instead of the things that you should probably buy or what would be most practical. Settle only for things that really flatter you. You know what your best feature is, so pick out things that draw attention away from what you view as not your best. Women nearly always feel better in things that are truly flattering, so trust your instinct. Bring girlfriends along and get their opinion. Just remember to only get things that are comfortable. Being confident in your own skin shouldn’t mean you’re uncomfortable.

Wear colors that flatter your complexion. If your skin has blueish undertones, you’ll look better in colors that have a blue or silver undertone, such as pure white, black, gray, blues, purple, pink. Those who have skin with more golden undertones look better in browns, greens, golds, oranges, creams and tans. Look through your closet and find those tops that always get you compliments. They are sure to be in colors that flatter you.

You are beautiful, exactly as you are. Don’t let cancer take away your confidence in your inherent worth. Let fashion help you boost your self esteem. When you dress well, you’ll feel better, more powerful, and brave enough to face whatever comes. Don’t let the hard blows take away your belief in your self worth, but dress like you can take on the world, because you can.”
